Who We Are

Congregation Beth Adam was founded in 1980 to serve a Jewish community looking for something more personal, more thoughtful, and more relevant to modern life.

We approach Judaism as a living, evolving tradition shaped by people, values, and shared experiences.

Rather than centering practice on obligation or strict doctrine, we focus on meaning, connection, and ethical responsibility. Our community is grounded in respect for individual beliefs, encouraging each person to engage with Jewish life in a way that feels authentic to them.

CREATE EXPERIENCE

This creates an experience that is distinct from many traditional synagogues. Our services are accessible and reflective, designed to inspire rather than instruct. We embrace questioning, welcome diverse perspectives, and make space for those who may not feel at home in more conventional religious settings.

COME TOGETHER

Beth Adam brings people together through services, holiday celebrations, and life cycle events, along with educational programs for both children and adults, B Mitzvah preparation, social gatherings, and opportunities for community involvement and social action.

BUILD COMMUNITY

For more than 40 years, our congregation has grown through the ideas and energy of our members. Long-time participants and those joining for the first time help shape the direction of our community, ensuring it continues to reflect the needs and values of today.

ACCESS EDUCATION

Education is central to what we do. Our fully inclusive religious school supports children of all backgrounds and learning styles, while our adult education programs offer ongoing opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage. Members also have access to a thoughtfully curated library and media collection at no cost.

Beth Adam is a place for those seeking connection without conformity, tradition without rigidity, and a Jewish experience that meets them where they are.
